Drinking Before A Meal May Cause Weight Gain

A new study published in the journal Obesity found that some people may eat more if they have a drink BEFORE they eat. This is because the alcohol affects the way the brain interprets food aromas and may cause an increase in food intake. Obviously, weight loss and food regulation is very complex, and this is only one small part of weight regulation. Alcohol has a lot of empty calories, and excessive drinking will cause weight gain no matter what time of the meal it is being consumed! Everyone is different, so pay attention to your own body and remember to drink in moderation and stay hydrated when drinking!
